Women’s Golf Sits in 14th After Opening Round at the Battle at Old South

BLUFTON, S.C. - The Coker College women's golf team completed round one at the Battle at Old South on Saturday (Sept. 22) at Old South Golf Links. The Cobras compiled a team score of 322 on the day, good for 14th place.

Individually, Alyssa Campbell led the way after firing an opening round 78 (+6), putting her in a tie for 39th. Fellow newcomer Alicia Fajardo was not far behind with a 79 (+6) and tied for 51st. Bella Harris, Kelli Smith, and Taylor Mayers rounded out the round by carding scores of 82, 83, and 87, respectively.
