Coker Finishes Eighth at SAC Championship

ELGIN, S.C.- The Coker College women's golf team finished in eighth place at the 2018 South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Championship at The Members Club at Woodcreek Farms after the final round of play on Tuesday, April 17. 

After three rounds of play, Coker finished in eighth place at the 2018 South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Championship. The Navy and Gold shot a collective team score of 981 over the three-day tournament. Senior Angela Luna led the way for the Cobras with rounds of 83, 79 and 77 to finish ninth individually.

Next was Kelli Smith and Taylor Mayers who carded tournament scores of 246 and 251 respectively. Smith finished 24th and Mayers tied for 31st.

Samantha Pearson and Ana Orlov weren't too far behind, signing off on three-round scores of 254 and 255 to complete play for the 2018 season.
