Coker in Seventh Through One Round at SAC Championship

ELGIN, S.C.- The Coker College women's golf team carded a collective score of 330 in the opening round of the 2018 South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Championship at The Members Club at Woodcreek Farms on Sunday, April 15. 

Before the torrential rains and howling winds took over the afternoon, the 2018 South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Championship was able to complete round one. Coker sits tied for seventh through the first day of play with a team score of 330.

The Navy and Gold are within five shots of one another collectively. Taylor Mayers leads the team with a first round 81, followed by Samantha Pearson with an 82. Next, Angela Luna and Ana Orlov signed off on rounds of 83 and 84 respectively. Kelli Smith bookended play for Coker with an opening round 86.
