ORANGE PARK, FLA.- The Coker College women's golf team shot a collective score of 316, placing them in seventh after round one at the LMU Women's Spring Intercollegiate at Fleming Island Golf Club in Orange Park, Fla. on Monday (Feb. 26). Angela Luna and Ana Orlov led the Cobras into the clubhouse after day one.
Senior Angela Luna fired a first round 75 (+4) and Ana Orlov carded a 77 (+6), to open play at Fleming Island. Luna is tied for 12th in individual play, while Orlov is tied for 18th.
Kelli Smith and Samantha Pearson sit even with each other, after signing off on a round score of 82 (+11).
The Navy and Gold will take on the second round of the LMU Women's Spring Intercollegiate on Tuesday (Feb. 27) at the Fleming Island Golf Club. Results from the match can be found by visiting www.cokercobras.com.
