Women's Golf Sits 13th After Opening Round at Patsy Rendleman Invitational

SALISBURY, N.C.- The Coker College women's golf team wrapped up round one at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational with a team score of 321 at the Country Club of Salisbury and sit in 13th overall. Kelli Smith and Angela Luna helped lift the Cobras by breaking into the top-30 in individual play on Monday (Oct. 9). 

Kelli Smith took charge for the Cobras on Monday, shooting an opening round 75 (+3) to sit tied for 15th in individual play. Angela Luna was just two shots behind Smith for the day with a score of 77 (+5) and tied for 28th overall.

Samantha Pearson, Amber Winburn, and Ana Orlov assisted the Navy and Gold with scores of 84, 85, and 86 respectively.
