HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College women's golf team will open its 2017-18 season when they travel to compete in the Converse College Fall Invite at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C. (Sept. 17-19). Fans can follow all of the tournament's action with updates on www.cokercobras.com.
Last season when the Cobras competed in the Converse College Spring Invite, the team placed in the top-five with a fourth place finish out of 19 teams with a 639 combined score. Kelli Smith led the way for Coker posting rounds of 78 and 76 on her way to finishing tied for fifth at ten shots over par (72). Bella Harris (76 & 85) and Angela Luna (82 & 79) also contributed to the cause finishing inside the top-25 placing tied for 23rd.
The Converse College Fall Invite at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C. will be played from Sunday (Sept. 17) through Tuesday (Sept. 19).
