Cobras In Seventh With 18 Holes Remaining at SAC Championship

GREENEVILLE, TENN. – The Coker College women's golf team shot a team score of 316 on day two of the South Atlantic Conference Championship, leaving the Cobras in seventh place with a two-day score of 621. The Cobras sit just seven strokes outside of third and 20 strokes from the top spot. 

Bella Harris continued her consistent play, firing a second round score of 78. Kelli Smith signed off on a second round 79, leaving both Harris and Smith in a tie for 17th on the individual leaderboard. Angela Luna and Taylor Mayers are in a tie for 25th going into the final round. Luna carded an 81 in round two, while Mayers shot 78. Amber Winburn rounded things out for the Navy and Gold, shooting a second round score of 82 after an opening round 76.

Tusculum is still atop the team leaderboard with a 601 team score through 36 holes. Elizabeth England of Carson-Newman is the individual leader, carding rounds of 73 and 66.

The final round will begin Tuesday morning (Apr. 11). The Cobras will tee of on hole number 10 from 8:30 to 9:06 a.m.
