Cobras Place Third at Agnes McAmis Memorial Invitational

GRENNEVILLE, TENN – The Coker College women's golf team shot rounds of 306 and 316 at the Agnes McAmis Memorial Invitational for a 622 tournament total and a third-place finish.

Taylor Mayers led the way for the Cobras, shooting rounds of 74 and 78. Her tournament score of 152 was good enough for a tie for fifth on the individual scoreboard. Angela Luna finished a stroke behind Mayers, firing rounds of 74 and 79 for a tie for eighth on the individual leaderboard. Kelli Smith rounded out the top-15 finishers for the Cobras, shooting rounds of 79 and 78. Bella Harris signed off on rounds of 79 and 82, while Amber Winburn carded rounds of 87 and 81 to round things out for the Navy and Gold.

King University took home the team title, shooting rounds of 306 and 304. Fiona Hebbel of King was the individual medalist. She shot rounds of 73 and 70.

The Cobras will be back in action on Sunday (Apr. 9) for round one of the South Atlantic Conference Championship, taking place at Link Hills Country Club in Greeneville, TN
