Cobras Host Coker Women's Invitational
The Coker College women's golf team will partake in the Coker Women's Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's golf team will welcome six schools from around the southeast region for the second edition of the Coker Women's Invitational at Hartsville Country Club.
The Cobras finished fourth in their last tournament, shooting rounds of 321 and 318 at the Converse Spring Invite.
Angela Luna headlines the Coker starting lineup, entering the 36-hole tournament with a 77.9 scoring average. Kelli Smith and Bella Harris have season scoring averages of 80.3 and 80.9. Smith is coming off a top-five finish her last time out. Taylor Mayers has season scoring average of 82.7, while Amber Winburn comes in with a 84.8 stroke average on the season. Ana Orlov and Taylor Gaskins will play as individuals for the Cobras. Orlov has a season scoring average of 86.1, while Gaskins will be making her season debut.
Coker will welcome Belmont Abbey College, North Greenville University, Erskine College, North Georgia University, Shorter University and USC Beaufort for the two-day event.
Opening round (Mar. 13) tee times will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Hartsville Country Club with a shotgun start.
