Cobras Conclude Fall Season at SAC Preview

MONROE, N.C. – The Coker College women's golf team will play their fourth and final tournament of the fall season beginning on Saturday. The Cobras will tee it up at the South Atlantic Conference Preview hosted by Wingate University.

The two-day, 36-hole tournament will be played at Monroe Country Club. Coker will tee it up along side fellow SAC members Carson-Newman, Catawba, Lincoln Memorial, Mars Hill, Newberry, Queens and Wingate. UNC Pembroke of the Peach Belt Conference rounds out the field.

Taylor Demby leads the way for the Navy and Gold with an 81.5 scoring average on the season. Bella Harris has an 83.2 scoring average through six rounds and will look to continue her strong play of late. She posted an 11th place finish at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational (10/12-10/13) after rounds of 77 and 78. Taylor Gaskins has posted an 84.5 scoring average through four rounds this fall. The Coker traveling five is rounded out by the duo of Ana Orlov and Tensley Clowser. Orlov is sporting a scoring average of 86.5, while Clowser checks in with an 87.5 season scoring average.

Tee times will begin Saturday morning (Sept. 17) at Monroe County Club.
