Coker Women’s Golf Debuts at Cutter Creek Invitational

SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Coker College women's golf team will kick their 2015-16 season off on Monday (Sept. 7) as they travel to the Cutter Creek Invitational in Snow Hill, N.C. The 36-hole tournament hosted by Barton College, will be played at the Cutter Creek Golf Club.

The Cobras are coming off a 2014-15 season where they posted five top-10 finishes in just eight tournaments.

Senior Taylor Demby, who is coming off her third-straight all-conference selection, will lead the Coker traveling five after posting a 79.2 scoring average in 2014-15. Junior Taylor Gaskins and senior Tensley Clowser return to the starting lineup after scoring averages of 88 and 92.1 in 2014-15. The freshman duo of Bella Harris and Ana Orlov round out the Cobras lineup, as they will both be making their collegiate debut.

Tee times will begin Monday morning (Sept. 7) at the Cutter Creek Golf Club.
