Coker Women’s Golf in 13th After Day One at Converse Spring Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Coker College women's golf team finds itself in 13th place after day one of the Converse Spring Invite. The ladies shot a day one score of 362.

Taylor Demby led the way for the Navy and Yellow shooting an opening round 79. Her first round score puts her in a tie for ninth place individually. Amber Harman and Taylor Gaskins shot rounds of 90 and 91. Margaret Mills and Tensley Clowser signed off on rounds of 102 and 106.

King College is out in front with a team score of 314 after the opening 18 holes. Nicola Robertson of King is also atop the individual leaderboard after an opening day score of 75.

Round two will begin tomorrow morning at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.
