Cobras Add Davis for 2019-20 Roster

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College women's basketball team has announced the addition of Emily Davis to the team ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

"We are thrilled to sign Emily to our Coker family", said Coach Shannon Johnson. "Emily has plenty of playing experience and will be able to come in to make an immediate impact. She will help us a lot offensively as she comes in after averaging 23.3 points per game last season."

The Parma, Ohio native makes her way to Coker after spending last season at Wake Technical Community College where was an All-American and All-Region selection on the court. While there she posted a scoring average of 23.3 points per game, which was fifth in the NJCAA, and shot 46.9% from three-point range. Prior to college, Davis lettered in basketball, soccer, and track at Holy Name High School. On the court she was an all-conference and all-district selection while leading the team in scoring with 14 points per game and steals. 

She plans to major in criminal justice and is the daughter of William and Suzanne Davis. She has one brother, Will.
