ROCK HILL, S.C. - Coker College freshman Saquita Joyner has been named to the South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball All-Freshman Team as announced by the conference on Thursday (Mar. 7).
The freshman from Hartsville, South Carolina had an excellent first season with the Cobras as she played in all 27 games with six starts, averaging 6.8 points per game and 3.9 rebounds per game. Joyner posted eight games this season with 10 or more points, including a season-high 21 points against Lincoln Memorial.
Joyner is a biology major and the daughter of Steve Joyner and Shu-Jen Oliver.
