Cobras Comeback Bid Falls Short at Lenoir-Rhyne

HICKORY, N.C. - The Coker College women's basketball team's comeback bid fell just short against Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday (Feb. 20) night, falling to the Bears 73-61 in South Atlantic Conference action.

Saquita Joyner led the Cobras with 18 points and Hayley Kropp also hit double figures with 13 points. Erin Houser just missed double figures with nine points, while Ashauntee Nelson notched seven points.

The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Feb. 23) when they host Tusculum at 2:00 PM  on Senior Day with a pregame ceremony honoring seniors Aloni McFarland and Elizabeth Kincaid.
