Kropp Collects 15 Points in Loss to Regionally Ranked Trojans

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College women's basketball team fell in a home South Atlantic Conference matchup 64-55 against the Anderson University Trojans. The Cobras led for much of the game and led by as much as 10 points over the Trojans, who came into the day ranked second in the southeast region.

Hayley Kropp had the hot hand for Coker, scoring a team-high 15 points and adding five rebounds and three assists. Ashauntee Nelson was the other Cobra in double figures with 11 points, while Hope Richardson poured in eight points. Erin Houser and Shay Jackson both put up six points in the contes, and Saquita Joyner and Haliyah Sumter scored four and three points, respectively. Aloni McFarland and Elizabeth Kincaid rounded out the scoring with one point each.

The Cobras will be back in action when they travel to Catawba on Wednesday (Jan. 9) for a South Atlantic Conference tilt with the Indians at 6:00 PM.
