Women's Basketball Falls to Barton in Home Opener

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College women's basketball team fell in their home opener on Saturday (Nov. 17) to Barton by a final score of 58-55.

Hannah Stull led the charge for the Cobras by scoring a team-high 12 points, while both Aloni McFarland and Hayley Kropp dropped 11 points each. Shay Jackson put up six points and pulled down eight rebounds, and Hope Richardson had four points. Amanda Cherry and Elizabeth Kincaid tallied three points, while Taiylar DeMoss and Saquita Joyner pitched in with two points. Erin Houser managed to pull down a team-high 15 rebounds and also had one point in the game.

The Cobras will hit the road for their next game on Tuesday (Nov. 20) at Southern Wesleyan, with the opening tip set for 5:30 PM.
