Cobras Drop Close Contest at Fayetteville State

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Coker College women's basketball team dropped its non-conference game with Fayetteville State on Wednesday (Nov. 14) by a final score of 61-59 in overtime.

Erin Houser followed up a 23 point performance last time out with a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds. Shay Jackson also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds on the night. Hannah Stull notched seven points, while Aloni McFarland recorded six points and a game-high five assists. Hope Richardson and Ashauntee Nelson scored five and four points, respectively, while Haliyah Sumter notched two points and Hayley Kropp scored one.

The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Nov. 17) when Barton travels to Hartsville to take on the Cobras at 2:00 PM.
