HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's basketball team fell to the Tusculum College Pioneers 66-50 on Saturday (Feb. 10) afternoon in South Atlantic Conference action.
Erin Houser led the way with 17 points and nine rebounds, and Janea Williams added 11 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocked shots.
The Cobras outrebounded Tusculum 45-28 but the Pioneers used a significant advantage in steals, scoring 25 points off of Coker turnovers to create a lead the Cobras couldn't recover from.
Coker will be back in action on Wednesday (Feb. 14) when they face the Catawba College Indians in the DeLoach Center. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
