CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Coker College women's basketball team fell to the UNC-Charlotte 49ers, a member of the NCAA Division I Conference USA, Saturday (Nov. 4) in an exhibition contest.
Taiylar DeMoss and Elizabeth Kincaid led the Cobras offensively with eight points each. Hayley Kropp added six points and Iresha Cooper recorded five. In addition to her five points, Cooper tied for the team-lead in rebounds with five, along with Janea Williams.
The Cobras will take the court again when they open up their regular season schedule in the Conference Carolinas-SAC Showdown on Nov. 10. The Navy and Gold will square off against Belmont Abbey at 7:30 p.m.
