HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker Head Women's Basketball Coach Shannon Johnson has taken great pride in the various community service projects that her team has completed so far this fall.

The team ventured to Wesley United Methodist Church on Oct. 4th to help unload pumpkins for the churchgoers. The team followed that up by participating in the Domestic Violence Awareness Walk in Darlington, S.C. on Oct. 22. Finally, the team held its annual Halloween party at the Hartsville Skating Rink where they carved and painted pumpkins and interacted with locals.

"We had a great time painting pumpkins this year, and I have some artists on the team", said Johnson of her girls. After dancing and skating the night away, Johnson added, "it's one of our team bonding events and the ladies love the time together".

The Cobras begin their regular season on Saturday, Nov. 11 at the SAC/Conference Carolinas Challenge when they take on Limestone College at Newberry, S.C. at 2:00 p.m.
