PEMBROKE, N.C.- Coker women's basketball dropped its non-conference contest at UNC Pembroke on Saturday (Nov. 21) 63-51.
Jazz Green tallied a team high 14 points while Kiara Shoats added 13. The Cobras shot 17-52 (32.7%) from the field and 14-18 (77.8%) from the free throw line. Coker outscored UNC Pembroke 17-15 in the fourth quarter.
Kiara Shoats led all Coker scorers at the half with seven points, while Jazz Green and Kendra Lambert each had five. The Cobras were 8-24 (33.3%) from the field in the first half.
Coker resumes action when they travel to Catawba on Tuesday (Nov. 24) to open up South Atlantic Conference play. Tip-off is at 6:00 p.m.
