Coker Women’s Basketball Adds Adams for 2016-17

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head women's basketball coach Shannon Johnson announced today the addition of Lindsey Adams to the 2016-17 roster.

Adams attends Freedom High School where she is a four-sport athlete lettering in volleyball, soccer, softball and basketball. The Morganton, N.C. native is a three-time first team all-county selection for the Patriot girls' basketball team and a three-time Christmas Tournament all-tournament selection. During her junior season, she averaged 12 points, fours rebounds, three steals and three assists per game. She reached the 1000-point milestone for career points her junior season as well.

"Signing Lindsey is a plus for our program," said Johnson. "She will give us another shooter and intense defender. She is an honor student and I know she will bring that same knowledge to the court. This is my first signee and I know she will represent our Coker mission statement well."

She is the daughter of Tammy and David Adams. She plans on being an education major.
