Coker's Stenson Named to All-SAC Second Team

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's basketball player Tanesha Stenson was named to the South Atlantic Conference all-conference team the league office announced today. Stenson was named to All-SAC second team.

Stenson, a senior guard, played and started in all 27 games this season for the Cobras. She averaged a team high 14.9 points per game which was good enough for sixth best in the conference. She pulled down 7.4 rebounds, which was seventh best in the conference. She also dished out 2.9 assist per game. She shot just over 40 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from three-point range and just under 71 percent from the free throw line.  This is the second time that Stenson has earned All-SAC second team honors.

Stenson is an education major from Nashville, Tenn. She is the daughter of Thelma Manning.
