Cobras Take On Pioneers in Regular Season Finale

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's basketball team will be back at home on Saturday (Feb. 28) to take on the visiting Tusculum College Pioneers. Tip is set for 2 p.m. at the DeLoach Center with live stats and broadcast available at www.cokercobras.com.

Saturday will be Homecoming, as well senior day for the Coker women's basketball team. The six seniors on the women's roster will be recognized at the conclusion of Saturday's game. The group includes Lakeria Crowder, Priscilla Fenty, Heidrun Kristmundsdottir, Hailey Yohn, Kelley Godbout and Tanesha Stenson.

Stenson leads the Navy and Yellow with 14.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. All are in the top seven in the South Atlantic Conference. Godbout and Yohn are averaging 8.3 and 8.1 points per contest, respectively.

The Pioneers travel to Hartsville sporting a 6-18 overall and 6-15 in conference record. They are led by Shynese Whitener who is averaging 14.3 points per game.

Tickets are $15 for reserved seats, $5 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for students, and free for all Coker students, faculty and staff.
