Cobras Set to Take on Indians in SAC Showdown

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's basketball team will be back in action on Wednesday (Feb. 11) to take on the visiting Catawba Indians in South Atlantic Conference action. Tip is set for 6 p.m. at the DeLoach Center with live stats and broadcast available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras come into Wednesday's game winning two of its last three at home with wins over Carson-Newman and Lincoln Memorial during that span.

The Navy and Yellow are led by Tanesha Stenson who is averaging a team-high 14.7 points per game along with pulling down eight rebounds per game. Those averages, along with her 3.6 assists per game are inside the top seven in the SAC. Seniors Kelley Godbout and Hailey Yohn are averaging eight and 7.9 points per contest, respectively.

The Indians come to Hartsville sporting a 13-8 overall and a 10-6 in conference record. They come in with four players averaging over 10 points per game, led by Jada Huntley who is averaging 14.4 points.

Game time is set for 6 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 11) with the doors of the DeLoach Center opening at 5 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear pink as it will be Play4Kay night. Tickets are $15 for reserved seats, $5 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for students, and free for all Coker students, faculty and staff.
