HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's basketball will be back in the friendly confines of the DeLoach Center on Wednesday (Jan. 28) to take on the visiting Wingate University Bulldogs in South Atlantic Conference action. Live stats and broadcast available at www.cokercobras.com.

Coker will look to continue their solid play at home, as they have won three of their last four in Hartsville.

The Navy and Yellow are led by senior Tanesha Stenson. She comes into Wednesday's contest averaging 14.3 points a game and 7.9 rebounds a game, both team highs. Those averages are also sixth and seventh in the SAC, respectively. Stenson along with classmate Kelley Godbout are both in the top 20 in field-goal percentage in the SAC, shooting 42.9 and 40.6 percent from the floor. Reliance on shot making from behind the arc will also be key for the Cobras. As a team, they are third in the conference shooting 33.2 percent from long range due in large part to Stenson and Hailey Yohn. Both are in the top 11 in three-point percentage in the conference.

The Bulldogs travel to Hartsville atop the conference standings with a 13-6 overall and 11-1 in conference record. They come in with five players averaging over nine points a game. Juniors Amber Neely and Morgan McGee are averaging 13.5 and 11.6 points per contest. Senior Chantal Dunbar is averaging a double-double putting up 11 points and 10 rebounds a game. She leads the SAC in rebounds per game.

The game is set to tip at 6 p.m. with the doors of the DeLoach Center opening at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 for reserved seats, $5 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for students, and free for all Coker students, faculty and staff.
