Three Score in Double Figures as Cobras Beat Jaguars by 18

AUGUSTA, GA. – The trio of Kelley Godbout, Kiara Shoats and Priscilla Fenty each scored in double figures as the Coker women's basketball team picked up a 62-44 win over the GRU Augusta Jaguars in non-conference action on Monday (Dec. 15) night.

Godbout scored a game-high 14 points, while Shoats poured in 12 points off the bench. Fenty chipped in 10 points, five rebounds and two assists. Senior Tanesha Stenson pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds and snagged seven steals to lead the defense.

The game was never in question as the Cobras led wire-to-wire over the Jaguars. The Navy and Yellow went into the break up 35-13, enjoying a 27-point lead at one point in the half. The hot start in the first half would allow Coker to cruise in the second half and pick up the 18-point victory.

Coker will return to the friendly confines of the DeLoach Center on Wednesday (Dec. 17) for a non-conference matchup with the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College. The game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. tip.
