Coker Women's Basketball Drops Exhibition to Vanderbilt

NASHVILLE, TENN. – The Coker Cobras fell to the Division I Vanderbilt Commodores 93-31 in their women's basketball exhibition game on Saturday (Nov. 8).

Freshman Marie Rothrock was Coker's leading scorer with nine points, two rebounds and an assist. Senior Priscilla Fenty added six points and a rebound, while classmate Tanesha Stenson netted four points and grabbed three boards. Freshman Sydney Shull also scored four points and brought down three rebounds. Seniors Hailey Yohn and Kelley Godbout both led the Cobras on the glass with four rebounds apiece; they each scored two points as well.

This was the Cobras final exhibition game of the season. They will begin regular season play on Friday (Nov. 14) when they host nationally ranked No. 11 Limestone College at 5:30 p.m. at Coker's DeLoach Center.
