Coker Women's Basketball Adds Lambert to 2014-15 Class

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's basketball coach Jenny Finora has announced that Kendra Lambert has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Cobras during the 2014-15 season.

A native of Palmyra, Ind., Lambert was a standout player at North Harrison High School. A four-time letter winner for the Cougars, she scored 1,409 career points, averaging 21.1 points and 3.8 rebounds during her senior season. In 2014 she received multiple awards, including being named to the Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association (HBCA) All-State District 3 team, the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) Senior All-State Honorable Mention team, the Associated Press Indiana All-State Honorable Mention team, and the Indiana Elite All-Star team. She was also named to the Hoosier Basketball Magazine All-State 2nd Team and she was a Hoosier Basketball Magazine/ IBCA Top 60 Selection.

Lambert, a guard on the basketball court, is an exceptional student in the classroom as well. She was a four-time member of the A/B honor roll and a three-time Top 25 Academic selection. She was a member of the National Honor Society, student council and was class president all four years of high school. 

Kendra is the daughter of Pam and John Lambert. She plans on majoring in Exercise Science while at Coker.
