Cobras Fall to Lions, 71-65

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's basketball team lost a 71-65 SAC competition on Saturday (Feb. 8).  With the loss the Cobras drop to 10-10 on the year and 8-8 in league play.

It was an equal first half as both teams battled to a 28-28 tie at halftime.  Mars Hill however came out of the locker room and proceeded to go on a 10-2 offensive run to take a 40-32 lead with 13 minutes remaining.  Coker would then respond with a 13-5 run of their own to tie the scoreboard at 45 with eight minutes left.
