Cobras Look to Keep Rolling Against Eagles

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's basketball team will look to extend its three-game win streak this Saturday (Nov. 23) against the Eagles of Carson-Newman College. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. in the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium, and will be broadcast live online at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras are heading into their conference home opener with a perfect 3-0 record, with the latest victory being a convincing 76-62 win over preseason SAC favorite Newberry College. Leading the way for the Cobras this season are juniors Priscilla Fenty and Tanesha Stenson. Fenty leads the team with 12.3 points per game and is second with 7.7 rebounds per game, while Stenson is second on the team at 11.7 points per game and averages a team best 9 boards per game.

Carson-Newman enters the game 3-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play. The Eagles are led by Kailyn Brooks and Jai Jai McLaughlin who average 14 and 10.8 points per game, respectively.

Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
