HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Six Cobras scored in double figures as the Coker women's basketball team rolled past Converse College 109-63 in Conference Carolinas women's basketball action on Saturday afternoon.

The Cobras never trailed from the opening tip to the final buzzer. As a team Coker shot 57.7 percent from the floor and 52.6 percent from three-point range. At the half the Cobras led 60-21. The second half was a much closer ball game with the Cobras out scoring the Valkyries just 49-42, but the lead was too much for Converse to overcome.

Jasmine Alston (Sumter, S.C.) pulled down a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Jasmine Evans (Birmingham, Ala.) also scored 13 with four boards.
