Men's Track and Field Takes on the USC Invitational

Columbia, SC. – Men's Track and Field headed to South Carolina. The team competed in the USC Outdoor Invite where multiple athletes competed hard throughout the day grabbing personal records.

Aaron Hughes, Jeffrey Stiles, and Kristoffer Person all competed well in the open 100 hitting times of 10.53, 10.61, and 10.89. Hughes, Person, and Gary Simpkins took on the 200 and all ran great times of 21.61, 22.01, and 22.06. Simpkins, Jacobi Garrett, and Phillip Davis were in the one-lap sprints all clocking in times of 49.05, 56.96, and 58.68. Jamie Muldowney, Nicholas Hallis, and Joshua Barry participated in the mid-distance 800 race as they went on to hit times of 2:10.67, 2:12.73, and 2:21.70. Josh Zeigler competed in 1500 hitting a time of 4:48.10. William Frazier and Luker Baker both competed in the javelin throw hitting distances of 37.55m and 36.63m. The Men's 4x100 team ran a quick 42.06 in their respective heat.
