HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- Coker College men's track and field athlete, Alex Berry has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday (Mar. 26).
Berry won both the high jump and the triple jump at the CIU Invitational last weekend, posting personal records in both events. His high jump distance of 1.87 meters was good for fifth-best in school history.
Berry is a biology major from Latta, S.C., and is the son of Jacqueline Berry.
