Lilly, Andrews Break School Records at USC Open

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Coker College men's track and field team enjoyed yet another record-breaking weekend at the USC Open on Saturday (Feb. 16).

Sage Lilly broke his own 400-meter record, posting a time of 49.46, the first sub-50 time in school history. Lilly now owns the top three 400-meter times in Coker history.

Mahliqe Andrews finished fifth overall in the 600-meter, posting his own school record in the process, with a time of 1:23.32.

Stephen Krebs notched two of the top-eight performances in school history in the 60-meter hurdles. He posted a time of 8.63 in the prelims, and followed that up with an 8.60, the sixth fastest time in Coker history.

 

The Cobras will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Winston-Salem on Saturday (Feb. 23) and Sunday (Feb. 24) for the South Atlantic Conference Indoor Championships.
