Tony McElveen, Sage Lilly, and Brandon Mullins Lead Cobras at JDL College Meet Madness

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Coker College men's track and field team had another impressive outing on Sunday (Jan. 27), as Tony McElveen, Sage Lilly, and Brandon Mullins led the way again this week at the JDL College Meet Madness.

Tony McElveen started the event by tying his own school record in the 60-meter with a time of 6.90 seconds.

Sage Lilly followed that up with the fifth-fastest 200-meter time in school history, recording a time of  22.68 seconds. Lilly notched the fourth-fastest 200-meter time in school history just last week at the Gamecock Inaugural.

Brandon Mullins continued writing his name all over the Coker record books with the fifth-fastest mile in school history at 4:45.62.

Stephen Krebs finished the day with a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with an impressive time of 8.69 seconds.

The Cobras will be back in action later this week when they travel to Columbia for the Carolina Challenge on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
