Cobras Stride into Gamecock Invitational Rested and Ready to Run

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College men's track and field team sets their sights on the Gamecock Invitational that will take place on Saturday, April 7. After having success at the Weems Baskin Invitational, also hosted by the University of South Carolina, the Cobras are poised for success returning to Columbia, S.C. 

In their last meet at the Raleigh Relays (March 30-31) Jarrell Mumford led the program in the 400-meter dash. Mumford ran the 400 in 49.84 seconds which placed him third all-time at Coker in the event.

Mahari Greene and Will Mosley also ran and finished in times of 51.47 and 51.56 seconds respectively.

Derrian Moreau, Tony McElveen Jr., Jarrell Mumford, and Will Mosely combined their skills to run the 4x100-meter event in 43.23 seconds, claiming a tenth place finish.
