Lott Ready for NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Chamionship

PITTSBURG, Kan.- Coker College's own Darroneshia Lott of the women's track and field team is prepared and ready to take on her next challenge in front of her. Lott will take her talents to the track at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championship in Pittsburg, Kan., Friday, March 9 in the preliminary races at 6:00 p.m. EST. Should Lott reach the finals, the race will be on Saturday, March 10, at 7:35 p.m. EST. 

Lott, being the most-decorated runner in Coker's program history, will attempt to make her mark at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championship on Friday in the 800-meter event. The esteemed senior qualified for the National Championship by running the time 2:11.53 in the 800-meter race at the JDL College Kick-Off Classic, where she took first place overall.

The Florida native will put her best foot forward on Friday, March 9 in the preliminary races at 6:00 p.m. EST. Should Lott reach the finals, the race will be on Saturday, March 10, at 7:35 p.m. EST. Live video and results from the event can be found by visiting www.cokercobras.com.
