HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Four Coker representatives have been selected to the preseason watch list, while the women's indoor track & field program was chosen to finish third in the conference and the men in sixth, the South Atlantic Conference announced on Wednesday (Nov. 29).

Coker College's women's indoor track & field program was voted to finish third overall in the SAC. Sprinter Noelia Leake and distance runner Darroneshia Lott have been selected to the SAC preseason watch list for 2017-18.

Lott, a senior, is coming off of an All-American finish from last season, and also picked up All-American honors in the fall for cross country as well. She posted her personal best with a time of 2:07.40 in the 800-meter. Lott was also named to the All-Southeast Region Team and set the Coker record in the 1500 with a time of 4:36.75, taking the conference title in both the 1500 and 800-meter races.

Leake too was tabbed as an All-Region selection in the outdoor season, bringing home the conference title in the 100-meter dash, running a time of 12.06 seconds.

For the men's indoor track & field team, they are expected to place sixth at the conference championships. Sprinter Tony McElveen Jr. and distance runner Brandon Mullins have been tabbed to the SAC preseason watch list as well.

Last season Mullins received All-Region honors and finished runner-up in the 800-meter, which set a new school record with the time of 1:53.58. McElveen Jr. broke the Coker 200-meter outdoor season time at the SAC Championships last season as well, with a mark of 21.87 seconds, where he finished fifth, and fourth in the 100-meter.
