Cobras Record Four Top Tens on Day Two of UNCW Invitational

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Coker College men's track and field team finished day two of the Seahawk Invitational on Saturday (Mar. 11).

Zafir Abdus-Salaam finished runner-up in the triple jump, recording a distance of 14.11 meters.

In the 4 x 100-meter relay, the team of Tony McElveen Jr., Tyriek Sampson, Kyle Baker and Malik Tarbell ran a time of 43.17 seconds, finishing in fifth place.

In the 4 x 400-meter relay, Will Mosley, Da'Shawn Nixon, Tyriek Sampson and Razzel Kiplaget ran a time of 3:27.27 to finish in sixth place.

Jordan Reese rounded out top ten finishes for the Cobras, placing ninth in the pole vault with a height of 3.65 meters.
