CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Coker College men's track and field team finished up competition at the Art & Linda Maillet UNC Open on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 14). 

The 4 x 400 relay team of Will Mosley, Brandon Mullins, Derrian Moreau and Razzel Kiplaget took seventh place with a time of 3:37.20. 

Zafir Abdus-Salaam nearly broke the Coker long jump record, recording a distance of 22' 5.75" to take fourth in the event. He also posted a strong performance in the triple jump, finishing in the runner-up position with a distance of 45' 4.25".

The Cobras will be back in action on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 20-21) when they travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the Wake Forest Invitational.
