COLUMBIA, S.C. – On Saturday (Feb. 7) the Coker Cobra men's track and field team took part in the University of South Carolina Open meet.
Leading the way in the track events was Evan Alcorn with a fourth place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.30. Jacob Chebii came in fifth in the one mile run coming in at 4:44.26, while James Gregory placed 12th with a time of 5:00.02.
In the field events, Brandon Campbell placed 17th in the shot put with a distance of 9.37 meters.
The Cobras will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
