WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Coker men's track and field team participated in day one of the Hilton Garden Invitational at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Friday (Jan. 30).
Brandon Gambrel led the way for the Cobras with a 13th place finish in the high jump. He cleared 1.92 meters. He also placed 25th in the long jump with a distance of 6.38 meters.
Also placing for the Cobras was the men's distance medley relay team. The team of Jacob Chebli, Naim Fareed, Evan Alcorn and James Gregory placed 16th with a time of 11:23.
The Cobras will compete in the final day competition at the Hilton Garden Invitational on Saturday (Jan. 31).
