Coker Picks Up 4-2 Win Over Concord

PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Coker College softball team (3-0) picked up their third straight win to kick off the 2015 season with a 4-2 victory over Concord University in game three of the UNCP Invitational.

Riley Morris was the offensive catalyst for the Navy and Yellow going a perfect 3-for-3, scoring two runs and belting a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning. Megan Strickland, Carley Bailey and Tayler Barcomb picked up the other three RBIs to fuel the Cobra offense.

Tabitha Allen (2-0) picked up her second win of the season going five innings, only giving up one hit and fanning four batters.
