HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker softball outfielder Sydney Weatherford has been selected as an all-conference player by the South Atlantic Conference, the league office announced on Wednesday (Apr. 23). This marks the third consecutive year that Weatherford has been selected for an all-conference award.
A second team All-SAC selection, Weatherford was an offensive catalyst for the Cobras this year as she led the team in hits (44), doubles (11), homeruns (7), RBI (39), and slugging percentage (.631). She was also second on the team in runs scored with 21 and triples with three.
Weatherford is a senior Business major from Scranton, S.C. She is the daughter of Deanna and Joey Weatherford.
