Cobras Continue Hot Start, Take Down Alderson-Broaddus 3-1

PHILIPPI, W.V. - The Coker College men's volleyball team came away victorious again on Saturday (Jan. 19) with a 3-1 win over Alderson-Broaddus to make them 2-0 on the season.

Joao Victor Santos led the team once again with 17 kills after going for 15 in the win over St. Andrews on Tuesday. Manuel Hernandez also had an impressive performance with 12 kills and three service aces. Hernandez was also extremely efficient in his work, recording his 12 kills on just 20 total attacks for a .550 kill percentage. Gabriel Castro also hit double figures in kills with 10 and led the team in digs with nine, while also recording a pair of service aces. Max Kuntz recorded four kills and four total blocks and Absalon Williams three kills. Brandon Ravelo racked up 41 assists in the match, while libero Seth Miller had six digs in the win.

The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Jan. 22) when they return to the friendly confines of the DeLoach Center for a 7:00 PM match with Belmont Abbey.
