Coker Downs the Visiting Royals

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker men's volleyball team faced Division III opponent Eastern Mennonite on Thursday (Mar. 8) night. The Cobras enforced their will, winning the match 3-1 (25-19, 25-15, 22-25, 25-20).

Joao Victor Santos knocked down a match-high 21 kills, alongside three service aces, eight digs, and three total blocks. This was his third time this season crossing the 20-kill threshold. Gabriel Castro finished second in kills with 14, while contributing one assist and five digs. Stephen Porras added 13 kills, two assists, six aces, four digs, and a block assist. Parker Oldham collected two kills, a service ace, four digs, and a block assist. Gary Baker was responsible for a kill, three assists, one ace, 10 digs, and a block assist. Aleksa Bijelic earned his fourth double-double of the season with 40 assists and 13 digs, also adding two aces and a block assist.

The Navy and Gold stay home for four more matches, starting with Bluefield College on Tuesday (Mar. 13) night.
