Cobras Swept by Crusaders

TIGERVILLE, S.C.- The Coker men's volleyball team ventured to the Upstate to battle the North Greenville Crusaders on Saturday (March 3) afternoon. The Navy and Gold fell short 3-0 (27-29, 16-25, 21-25).

Joao Victor Santos had a match-high 14 kills in his performance, adding two service aces, three digs, and two solo blocks. Stephen Porras followed with eight kills on an impressive .389 hitting percentage. He also recorded four digs and a solo block. Gabriel Castro had seven kills on the afternoon, contributing one assist and eight digs. Aleksa Bijelic collected 29 assists along with one kill and three digs. Gary Baker finished with a kill and two digs. Parker Oldham added a service ace and two digs.

The Cobras will return home for a six-match stand starting Tuesday (March. 6) versus Belmont Abbey. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
