BANNER ELK, N.C.- The Coker men's volleyball squad visited Lees-McRae College in their second match of the season. The Navy and Gold dropped the match 3-1 (24-26, 20-25, 25-17, 16-25).
Gabriel Castro led the offense with nine kills, while Stephen Porras and Joao Victor Santos each finished with eight. Santos hit an efficient .429 for the match. Aleksa Bijelic finished with 24 assists against the Bobcats. Parker Oldham and Castro had three service aces apiece. Gary Baker had the team-high digs with eight. James Fulton had two total blocks to lead the defense.
The Cobras continue their travels on Tuesday, Jan. 16, as they head to Due West, S.C. to challenge the Flying Fleet of Erskine College. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
